Job Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Traffic Engineer with two years of experience to join our dynamic team. As part of our dedicated engineering department, you will work under the guidance of our Engineering Team Leader (ETL) and have the opportunity to apply your engineering expertise in various traffic engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Engineering Team Leader to design traffic engineering projects, including conceptual engineering studies, preliminary engineering, and final design.
  • Independently or as part of a team, conduct traffic engineering studies, such as assessing the need for traffic signals, performing crash analysis, and optimizing signal timing.
  • Perform traffic planning studies by analyzing roadway corridors and developing travel demand forecasts using transportation planning models.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge to practical applications as an Engineer in Training (EIT).

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Traffic Engineering from an accredited university. Two plus years of progressive engineering experience.
