Excellent guest service, people, communication, and organizational skills
1 to 3 years previous related experience and/or training
Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office

Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for all functions of the register including opening and closing
Responsible for coding orders and tagging merchandise
Responsible for bi-weekly count on stock merchandise for re-orders, inventory counts, and compiling end of the month figures
Responsible for posting daily sales and adding new numbers to computer and register
Responsible for supervising retail staff including by not limited to scheduling, training, and disciplinary coaching when necessary
Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of consumer goods while ensuring accuracy of monthly inventory
Responsible for approving invoices bases on merchandise delivered and working with vendors when corrections may be needed
Must have the ability to supervise independently, while also working as a team with the assistant manager and all upper management of Twin River
Ability to forecast sales based on back end reporting for the purpose of ordering and projecting budgets
Responsible for being knowledgeable of daily events, promotions, and offers at an expert level, and capable of explaining these programs to the players in a clear and concise manner
Must be able to work closely with other departments on property including but not limited to, Finance, Accounts Payable, Revenue Audit, Marketing, Receiving, Warehousing, Purchasing and Player Development for the purpose of maintaining company standards, while also taking comments and suggestions to enhance the operational efficiency of the retail store
Assist in the set-up of special sales and events
Ensure store is open during scheduled hours, maintain a work schedule, and fill in where coverage is lacking, call outs occur, and time off is requested
Merchandise Gift Shop floor
Ensure that all areas are stocked and straight before leaving at the end of the shift
Ensure departmental functions are performed within established departmental and company guidelines
Show special recognition to frequent guests
Must complete all transactions accurately and in a timely fashion while paying careful attention to providing exceptional guests service
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Constantly use physical movements necessary for general office duties: standing, walking, balancing, eye-hand coordination, finger dexterity, handling, wrist motion, sitting, reaching, carrying, vision, hearing, stooping, and twisting

Constantly use mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks
