Job Description

The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with business leaders and IT management to understand and document strategic efforts, capture business processes, understand innovations and rationalize technology solutions. This role will be tasked with defining how architecture and technologies will be used, communicating the processes and strategies to diverse audiences, indicating risk and navigating systems deliveries to the best-in-class, right-sized solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, and principles to guide technology investments and decisions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure IT systems, applications, and infrastructure that meet business requirements to ensure the proper adoption of risk, driving outcomes that are sustainable and scalable for the Bank.
  • Define and document architecture standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Enforce architecture standards across all efforts, insuring integration, performance, scalability, cost management, recoverability, compliance to all Bank and Information Security policies as needed or directed by management.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions that drive value and innovation.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to technical teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Partner with vendors and third-party providers to assess technology solutions and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Continuous support of audit practices as directed by management and the development of self[1]service audit capabilities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to drive strategies which demonstrate alignment with business needs.
  • Possesses strong foundational technical skill sets and architecture experience which can be leveraged as use of current and newer technologies are adopted.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate technology into business terms with customers at all levels.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and must be able to manage multiple requests at the same time.
  • High motivation, self-starting, ability to work with minimal direct supervision, takes ownership.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Visio. * The ability to collaborate with a diverse group of people.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge across multiple IT domains, including applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, AWS Certification, ITIL, or similar proven methodologies.
  • Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) or Certified Information Systems Architect (CISA), are a plus.
  • Cloud migration experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS.
