JOB SUMMARY:
To perform primary Quality Control functions for the business tracking internal and external DPPM through utilization of established quality tools and techniques including, SPC, Pareto analysis, Process Capability Studies, Process and Product Audits, Gage R&R, 8-D, PPAP's and all Quality clerical data documentation.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Product inspection and acceptance.
- Calibration
- Other QA/QC testing
- Perform process audits and Gage R&R studies.
- Product auditing and capability studies.
- ISO documentation support including coordination and crafting of work instructions
- Support the quality coordination of timely root cause and corrective actions for internal and external quality systems.
- Interpret industry standard specifications and compliance in support of customer surveys and audits documentation
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience in a quality or inspection position with knowledge of quality and inspection tools (Mic/Caliper etc.)
- Meticulous attention to detail required.
- Mathematical aptitude
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word)
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with manufacturing, technical and management staff.
EDUCATION
- Associates degree in technical discipline or 2-4 years working in a technical/Quality role within manufacturing.
