Job Description
Job Summary:

SEA CORP has openings for two Strike Systems/Payload Integration positions in Newport, RI starting in April 2018. These positions have need for Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the Tactical Weapons employment for both SSN and SSGN platforms. Candidates will work on identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. This work will require the utilization of creative thinking in problem solving, being able to analyze data, and the ability to communicate findings using excellent verbal and written communication skills. These positions will hold normal business hours but some light traveling may be required for this role, ranging from day trips to overnights. Foreign travel is also a possibility.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science and eight or more years of professional experience is required. A postgraduate degree or postgraduate studies/certifications are preferred. In lieu of educational criteria, significant prior technical work experience such as active duty military or prior work in this area is acceptable.
The selected candidates must have strong expertise in the Weapons Technology area with regards to systems, hardware, software, and basic concepts of operations with regards to submarine tactics. As this work is collaborative involves frequent interaction with customers and peers, the ideal candidates must work well with others. The ability to apply lessons learned to the development of new payloads is a plus.

U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance are required.
