Job Description
Job Summary:
 
SEA CORP is seeking 2 full time Network Engineers to be based out of Newport, RI. The Network Engineers will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks and data through the planning analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. The engineers will work closely with both customers and colleagues on assigned tasking to support the design, configuration, installation & maintenance of networks. They will ensure information systems reliability and accessibility to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data. Some travel, including overnight trips, may be involved with this position.
 
Required Education and Experience:
 
The ideal Network Engineers must be able to utilize creative thinking and problem solving skills to assist in network design and implementation to modify the network as new requirements or regulations arise. Candidates must be able to collaborate with team members / customers and possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.

Candidates must have a working technical knowledge of current hardware, software, tools, protocols, and standards. A Security+ certification is required of candidates.
 
A Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I is preferred (will need to obtain within six months of hire if not already certified).  Other preferred experience includes a Windows 10 certification, familiarity with Cisco products, and knowledge of switches, routers & network standards (CCNP or CCNA level, certification is not required). Other certifications may be required per DoD requirements in the future.
 
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering as well as 3-7 years of experience.
 
US Citizenship and a DoD Secret security clearance are required.
