Job Description
Job Summary:

SEA CORP has an opening for a full-time TCS Integrator, based out of Newport, RI.  The TCS Integrator will analyze, design, develop and test BYG-1 systems to ensure the integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, safety and other requirements in the total engineering effort. Additional responsibilities include armoring systems for Navy certification and accreditation, working with external vendors and customers, and configuring lab environments and specifications. This individual is also responsible for requirements definitions, software critical item tests, etc., in addition to configuring and troubleshooting system hardware and software. This position will frequently collaborate with both customers and peers on assigned tasking and will require some overnight travel.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with a field concentration in Computer Science is required. A minimum 3 years of experience is required.
 
It is required that candidates be computer literate as well as possess strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, comfortable working with a team, and have the ability to work under pressure. Candidates must be able to utilize creative thinking in problem solving issues and be able to troubleshoot and repair software and hardware problems as well as have experience with cabling equipment racks to support system hardware components. The hired employee will have intermediate knowledge of shell scripting, strong knowledge of Linux operating system, as well as have an understanding of OS operation in a cross platform environment (Linux/Windows) and be able to move heavy computer equipment when needed.

It is preferable that candidates have experience with virtualization techniques and with Cybersecurity (RMF, IAVA Management, etc.), an advanced certification in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, the ability to read C++/Java code, and previous experience with the AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a current DOD Secret clearance is required. Current active DoD Secret clearance is preferred.
