Job Description
Job Summary:

SEA CORP has several openings for Cybersecurity Engineers in Newport, RI. The selected candidate will provide support for the development, maintenance, and testing of submarine programs and systems. This tasking is performed by using existing systems engineering documentation and processes as well as developing new documentation, requirements, and processes to ensure that the systems under evaluation provide secure processing capabilities in support of all mission areas. While this position will mostly have regular business hours, some travel may be required.

Job Qualifications:
The candidate must have experience with the application of process and technical controls to mitigate risks to system security and methods to specify, test, and certify that the chosen controls are implemented properly using the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800 series of special publications and meet DoD requirements. Candidate must have familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) certification, authorization, and accreditation processes such as DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authorization and Accreditation (A&A). Experience with either Linux and/or Windows implementation of security controls is required.
 
Education and Experience:

Bachelors of Science degree in technical field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent). The candidate must have background in Cybersecurity identified by degree, certificate program, and/or a second level Cybersecurity industry certification (CompTIA Security+ or higher). Advanced military technical training (e.g. Navy "C" School) and 7 years’ experience in military systems (e.g., service abroad a naval ship) and 3 years of professional experience in systems engineering can be substituted for the Bachelors of Science degree requirement.

U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are required.
