Software Engineer III

Job Description
Job Summary:
SEA Corp has immediate openings for mid-level Software Engineers with a minimum 5 years of experience and current DoD Secret Clearance out of its main location in Middletown, RI starting in December 2017. This role will be responsible for, or act as, the technical lead for tasking, collaborate and interact with customers and colleagues, require creative thinking and problem solving abilities, as well as strong organizational and presentation skills. This ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and be self-motivated.
Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with a field of concentration in Computer Science and 5+ years of experience.
Candidates must be proficient in C++ software development and have experience designing software using Unified Modeling Language (UML). Candidate must also be proficient in a Linux development environment and proficient in writing software requirements and design documentation. The idea candidates will have experience using Qt Framework and Qt Creator IDE. The ideal candidates will also have experience writing Software Requirements Document (SRS) and Software Design Document (SDD) as well as experience using Data Distribution Protocol (DDS).
U.S. citizenship and current DOD Secret clearance are required.
