Software Engineer

Job Description
Job Summary:
SEA Corp has immediate openings for entry level Software Engineers with a minimum of 1 year experience and able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance out of its main location in Middletown, RI starting in December 2017. This role will work closely with a supervisor on assigned tasking and involve collaboration and interaction with customers and colleagues, will require programming, creative thinking and problem solving abilities, strong organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Computer Science 1+ years of technical experience or academic equivalent.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and be comfortable developing software in C++. Candidates should have familiarity with version control systems, Unified Markup Language (UML), and Linux. Ideally, candidates will have experience using Qt and Qt Creator IDE for developing Graphical User Interface (GUI) layouts. Ideal candidates will also have experience writing software requirements and design documentation.
U.S. citizenship and current DOD Secret clearance are required.
