Job Description
Job Summary:

SEA CORP is seeking two full-time Test Engineers / Technicians to work closely with a lead Test & Evaluation (T&E) Manager in Portsmouth, RI beginning October 1, 2017. Tasking will involve analysis of system requirements, development of test plans and procedures, test conduct, and test report generation. Some testing will be via paper analysis, some in the labs, and some on board Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) platforms requiring some travel. These positions will be required to travel 1-5 times per year, with the frequency and duration of travel to increase over time as systems are developed, delivered, and will need to be tested aboard ships.
 
Education and Experience
 
Qualified engineering and technician candidates will  have a Technical School diploma in a related field and more than 3 years of experience in surface ship Variable Depth Sonar (VDS) systems, and be able to plan and conduct T&E of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) VDS being developed by Raytheon IDS. In lieu of specific VDS experience, acceptable related experience in test and evaluation of submarine towed array handlers, sonar, or hydraulic mechanical systems may be acceptable.
 
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver and possess strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written. They will also be comfortable with working as part of a team, and under pressure.

U.S. citizenship and current DOD Secret clearance are required.
