A Management Analyst collects, reviews, and analyzes information in order to make recommendations to the Government. This role defines the nature and extent of problems, and analyzes relevant data, which may include annual revenues, employment, or expenditures. This role will perform financial planning, analysis and monitoring services for the VIRGINIA Class Test and Evaluation, Platform Engineering and SCS CAP Programs.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Assisting in the formulation of budgets and recommend updates when required
-Processing all funding to support VIRGINIA testing events
-Providing financial accounting to NUWC TPM and appropriate sponsors
-Providing all day-to-day support to complete required actions set by NUWC Financial Department
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technical Field and 8+ years of experience. The advanced technical training curricula packages provided to former military personnel will be considered the equivalent of a technical diploma (e.g., Navy Technical Training “A” or “B” School) or associate degree (e.g., Naval Advanced Training “C” School) in the technical field of expertise. A High School Diploma (or GED) or Technical School Diploma (or equivalent plus 10 years of specifically-related experience is considered the equivalent of an Associate Degree. An Associate Degree (or equivalent) plus 5 years of additional specifically-related experience in a field is considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
